A Few Things to Think About…

  • Do not let anyone pressure you into a decision.  Whether you chose parenting, adoption or abortion, it’s a decision YOU will be living with for a life time.  Make sure YOU are 100% comfortable with this decision.  Women who go through with an abortion that they felt pressured or coerced into are more likely to experience strong emotional impacts.
  • Find support.  It may be tempting to isolate yourself right now but you don’t need to.  Doing so can put you at risk emotionally.  We are hear to listen and help you find your support system.  Women who do not have support, are at greater risk of the emotional side effects.
  • What impact do your personal/religious beliefs have on your decision?  This is a choice you will live with for the rest of your life.  Your beliefs will impact how you feel about your choice.
