AAU is Celebrating 20 Years!

In April 2026 AAU Adoptions proudly celebrates 20 years of bringing loving families and children together to create forever homes. For two decades, we’ve guided countless families through the adoption journey with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support.

As we reflect on the past 20 years, we honor the children, families, and dedicated team members who have made our mission possible. Join us in celebrating this milestone and explore how AAU continues to bring hope, joy, and forever families to communities everywhere.

Beyond Gotcha Day

Join us on Saturday, April 25th from 10am to 1pm for our FREE Beyond Gotcha Day celebration.

Come together with AAU staff, other adoptive families, and our friends from the adoption support network The Gathering Well for a top notch program you don’t want to miss! This event will include topics like TBRI (what’s THAT??), moms/dad’s group (always a favorite), and a panel to hear from those with lived experience. We will have give aways, celebration items, and of course, lunch!

Bring your children along so they can participate in their own programming separately. Children’s program will include age appropriate adoption friendly activities. Children up to age 12 welcome. Nursery provided for the littles. Join us for an amazing day of education and celebration!

Brief story of AAU’s journey since 2006

All About U Adoptions is a licensed, multi-state, 501(c)(3) non-profit child-placing agency serving South Dakota, North Dakota, and Nebraska. Founded in 2006 by Coleen, who personally experienced the joys and challenges of adoption, the agency was created to provide compassionate support, education, and resources for both birth families. adoptive families, and the children they love.

Starting from grassroots efforts, Coleen built the agency with a focus on empowering families and guiding children into loving, permanent homes. Today, All About U Adoptions has placed over 330 children and averages 20-25 adoptions annually, prioritizing personal care, lifelong support, and the well-being of every child and family we serve.

Monthly Trivia

On August 20th, we kicked off our “Countdown to 20 Years” celebration on Facebook & Instagram. Each month, on the 20th, we’ll post a fun trivia question about All About U Adoptions’ history, people, and impact. Supporters can comment their answers for a chance to win AAU swag. Winners will be drawn a few days after each post.

This monthly series will build excitement leading up to our 20th Anniversary Celebration on March 28, 2026, while also educating our community about AAU’s story and honoring the many families, birthparents, and supporters who have been part of the journey since 2006.
