We were both born and raised in North Dakota and met on the back of a choir trip school bus! Although, we didn’t start dating until Makenna moved away for college. We have been joyfully married since 2020. Our lives are filled with laughter and shared dreams, and we love creating meaningful moments through family traditions, adventures, and everyday fun.

Makenna’s childhood in ballet and travel sparked a lifelong love of culture and exploration, while Morgen’s passion for sports and coaching kids keeps life energetic and full of fun.

Morgen is a former pediatric ICU nurse turned COO of our family’s restaurant business. Makenna is a labor nurse turned stay-at-home mom (with a photography side gig)! We LOVE traveling to explore new places and take frequent Disney trips. It brings us joy to cook and host loved ones. We stay active with sports, lake days, and walks with our goldendoodle, June.

We fill our days with music, belting out theatre songs, and deepening our faith. Holidays, birthdays, and traditions are always celebrated with excitement, and we love finding new ways to make memories together. Whether it’s big adventures or simple moments at home, we treasure being a team and enjoying life as a family.

Our son, M, joined our family through adoption in 2024, and becoming parents has been our greatest joy. We hope to grow our family further, sharing a home filled with laughter and unconditional love. Life with us is full of encouragement and intentional living—and we hope to one day welcome another child into our lives. We also highly value open adoption and hope that can be part of the child’s story!
