The D Family!
We are Sam and Danielle, a faith-centered family from South Dakota with two energetic boys, Walker and Asher, and our dog, Hank. We met in 2017 when Sam was working as an ICU nurse and Danielle was working as an ER nurse.
We were married in 2020. We have built our relationship on faith, family, and a shared love of adventure. Sam is a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) and Danielle is a Nurse Practitioner. Danielle works 2 days a week so she is able to spend the majority of her time staying home with our children.
We live on a cul-de-sac in a family-friendly neighborhood. There are many parks and schools near our home. Our home is filled with lots of love and laughter. We enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and gathering with family and friends.
We are so excited to grow our family through adoption and look forward to welcoming another child into our home where they will be deeply loved, encouraged, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
Fun Facts
- We met through the hospital where we both worked as nurses.
- We often go to our family cabin in Northern Minnesota.
- Our second child was born at 26 weeks.
- Our dog is a golden retriever and just turned 7
- We are big fans of the Green Bay Packers.
