I earned my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of South Dakota and spent more than 25 years working as a school counselor. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of supporting children and families through challenges, transitions, and some of life’s most important milestones. After retiring from education, I found myself missing the opportunity to work directly with families and was excited to join the All About U Adoptions team.
Adoption has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was 11 years old, my family welcomed an adopted sibling, and years later I became an adoptive parent through three domestic open infant adoptions. Through our adoption journey, I met Coleen, and we have remained friends for more than 30 years. As an adoptive parent, I understand both the excitement and uncertainty that families experience during the adoption process. I enjoy getting to know prospective adoptive families, hearing their stories, and sharing my own experiences as I support them through the home study process. It is an honor to walk alongside families as they begin or continue their adoption journey.
