A Story of Open Adoption

This previous year has been a rollercoaster, but God has carried me through. In November I had a precious little girl. I was previously involved in an abusive/toxic relationship when I found out I was expecting and, long story short, the father is no longer in the picture. Due to all of this I made a heart-wrenching decision to place her for an open adoption, so I could give her more than I could on my own. The Lord placed in my heart that I wanted to pursue an open adoption with my daughter. I wanted an open adoption so all her questions could be asked and so I could have a relationship with her while being able to see her grow and learn. All About U Adoptions has been with me the whole way through my pregnancy and even after pregnancy! I loved that I was treated as if I was the staff’s own child. Even though the adoption is finalized now, the staff still reach out to me, and they treat me as if I am their own. I was blessed to find All About U Adoptions agency. This past year I have been involved with a lot of the staff as I am now a volunteer. I have gained great friends and grown so much closer to God. I don’t know exactly what the Lord has planned for my life, but I have a feeling it is going to be wonderful, because his plans are amazing. I do have high hopes for the adoption agency and helping women who have gone through similar situations as myself. I want us all to remember that God uses the broken hearted for his purpose.
