We are the D Family! We have been married for 6 years and live in North Dakota. Chris is a general manager of a distribution company and Kayla is a middle school teacher.
Chris likes playing music, golfing, and watching movies. Kayla enjoys baking, reading, and playing with our dogs. Together we love spending time making memories like fishing at the family lake cabin, enjoying holiday traditions, playing trivia and video games, and sharing delicious meals with our loved ones.
We are proud to be a blended family including a parent, step-parent, and our son “O”. He is a sweet, gentle kid who can’t wait to become a brother.
As a couple, we have always been led to adoption. We knew early on that a pregnancy would be unlikely for us, and that adoption was a beautiful way to grow and share our love as a family.

- Every fall we harvest apples from our yard to make apple pies.
- We first met on Halloween. Kayla was a ballerina and Chris wore a lampshade on his head for a costume.
