We met at college and quickly bonded over our shared sense of humor and love of the tv show, The Office. Just six months later, we were married in October 2019. In December 2021, we welcomed our daughter, E, and shortly after, moved to South Dakota and are now lucky enough to call it home.
Katie is living her dream as a full-time stay-at-home mom, often found at the park, at Target, or spending time with friends and family. Finn is finishing his time as an Air Force Officer and transitioning to a new role locally as a Hospital Administrator. Our family also includes a cuddly chocolate lab and a curious Siamese cat — both so sweet!
We’ve both dreamed of having a big family since we were young. Though the path hasn’t been easy, adoption has always been in our hearts. It was never a matter of if, only when, and we’re full of hope and trust in God as we take this next step. Faith is at the center of our lives; we attend church regularly and serve in our congregation, including working with the youth.
As a family, we love staying active and being together; whether it’s sports, watching movies, traveling, or building traditions like Sunday cookies, Disney at Halloween, gingerbread houses, or New Year’s Eve Mario Kart tournaments. We’re excited to grow our family through adoption and to share our love and joy along the way.

- We play online games with extended family almost every Sunday.
- We are Annual Disney World and Universal pass holders and love going during the Holidays.
- Friday Nights are for Pizza, Pajamas, and movies.
- We love being active — from marathons to lake days.
- We plant a garden every year (or, we at least try…).
